 Giving Tuesday Campaign Ends Soon

Giving Tuesday 2025

There is still time to make a real difference for the Percy Grainger Society before our Giving Tuesday 2025 campaign ends on January 31. We are well on our way toward our goal, but we have not reached it yet, and every gift in these final days truly counts.

This is our only annual fundraiser, and its success is essential to preserving Percy Grainger’s beloved home and keeping it open as a living, welcoming space for members, students, and music lovers. Your support helps maintain the house, care for the archives, and ensure that every tour, program, and member visit is engaging, informative, and worthy of Grainger’s legacy.

If you have already given, thank you. If you have not yet made your contribution—or if you are able to add a little more—please consider a gift today to help close the gap and push us over the top. Together, we can secure a vibrant future for the Percy Grainger Home & Studio and continue sharing this remarkable place with all who visit.

Giving Tuesday is an exciting day harnessing the power of generosity worldwide, but it is not the only day to show your support for the Percy Grainger Society and its mission.

Repair of Percy's Bedroom

Percy's Bedroom

The Percy Grainger Home and Studio is a beloved but demanding 125 plus‑year‑old treasure, and this recent ceiling leak in Percy’s bedroom is a vivid reminder of the constant care it requires. Peeling paint and water damage above the stained-glass window show how even small leaks can threaten the beauty and integrity of this historic house. Early use of our recent $88,000 capital grant funds will allow us to repair the damaged ceiling, address the source of the leak, and protect adjacent features like the woodwork and stained glass so that visitors can continue to experience the home much as Percy knew it.

This work is only possible because of you. Giving Tuesday’s unrestricted gifts strengthened our position to secure this important capital grant and will also help pay for essential preservation needs that the grant does not fully cover. From monitoring the aging structure to tackling unforeseen repairs, your support ensures that the Grainger House remains safe, welcoming, and historically authentic.

Thank you for helping us meet the ongoing challenges of caring for a century‑old landmark and for standing with us as these crucial improvements begin.
