The Percy Grainger Society is excited to establish an Advisory Group as part of our 2026-2028 Strategic Plan—an  initiative designed to strengthen PGS and deepen our impact.

What is the Advisory Group?

The Advisory Group is a dedicated team of engaged stakeholders who provide strategic guidance, specialized expertise, and timely counsel to the Society's Board of Directors. Unlike our quarterly Board meetings, the Advisory Group offers more frequent, flexible opportunities to address emerging challenges and opportunities in real-time.

Why an Advisory Group?

This group exists to enhance the Percy Grainger Society's ability to champion the "free-music-loving, folk-song-treasuring, ever-experimenting soul of Percy Aldridge Grainger". By bringing together diverse perspectives from musicians, scholars, educators, and cultural leaders, the Advisory Group helps ensure we remain a globally recognized leader in celebrating and advancing Percy Grainger's musical legacy.

How the Advisory Group Supports Our Work

Advisory Group members play a vital consultative role across several areas:
